Consignment

Step 1: To submit an item for consignment, we require you to send an email to consign@valamode.com attaching photos of your Luxury item you wish to consign. Photos should be of the front, back, insides, and sides of the item(s) and include any signs of wear including stains, creasing, smells, etc. We can only take items that are well cared for. Refer to consignment email requirements below. Note that original receipts are necessary as it is one part of our multi-step process for us to accept your item. Items without original receipts will require additional documentation that we will work with a third party company to verify and subject to a $25 authentication fee. After we have received your photos we will reach out to you confirming acceptance and the next steps.

Step 3: After receiving your photos, we will reach out to you confirming acceptance of your item and nexts steps. This includes booking an appointment for you to bring in your items for us to examine in person. Please note that if you do not have an appointment and show up unannounced, we may not be able to get back to you with details of your items right away. You must have a complete registered account which will require two pieces of government issued ID.

Consignment is a 3 month commitment. Please note we reserve the right to withhold your item if requested back prior to a three month period. Once administration & marketing fees are paid you can have your item back. Your item will NOT be returned until this fee is paid in full via direct transfer only with no exceptions. Payouts for sold items take place once a month for sales the month prior. 

Payouts: Valamode Vintage a la Mode offers the following percentage of payouts:

Seventy percent (70%) on all items that sell over $500

Sixty percent (60%) on all  items that sell under $500

All Shoes will have a 50% return rate. Shoes must be CLEANED prior to consignment otherwise a $25 cleaning fee will apply. 

Condition Rating:  We thoroughly examine and rate all items being consigned. Our rating system is determined by the condition and value of the items in the current market.

Each item will have details along side a rating system based out of 10. 

Example: This item is rated in 7/10 Fair Condition.

Counterfeit Pieces: Valamode Inc. does not accept counterfeit goods. We take authenticity seriously and are actively involved in the fight against counterfeit goods. Consigned bags that are found to be inauthentic will not be returned and will be destroyed. Owners of these bags will also be subject to a administration fee of $250.
